Cooling Down

The title refers to my legs,as I've had a little bit of sun burn,well quite a lot really after havng got back from visiting my mate and his wife who live in Spain. I managed to play some golf on a cracking course over there,however it was 31deg on a cloudless day and no wind...........in shorts and T shirt,OOPS. Travelled with Ryanair(think Dick Turpin of the in flight food world) out to Spain and flew back with Jet2(Dick Turpin with a conscience.just) Managing my diabetes quite well and getting my head round twice daily insulin injections,oh and the eyesght seems to have settled down and can see pretty much as well as before,if not better. On the poker front I played a $1 WCOOP sat on stars, and made it to the next round and won some cash too.now that I have better vision will now get back to donating at an online poker site with more regularity.

Finally a new post

Well its been a while............Have finally got round to putting a new post together,basically I haven't played too much poker apart from the odd cash game and the odd tournament because I haven't had the inclination and after recently being diagnosed with type1 diabetes my eyes are shot to shit and couldn't see to bloody play,oh that and feeling like shit is not really condusive to playing. any way,on an upnote now that i can see to play I have qualified for the 100k freeroll on stars so a bubble finish is on the cards then lol,will post my success or otherwise as soon as. Am hoping to get back in the poker groove soon and playing more.

so here we are and coming to the end of another month,and to be honest have played little poker of late. Although Ive not had too bad a month, I would have liked to have qualified for the monthly 10k freeroll but cant see that happening. now that I am sort of getting to grips with pokertracker above is my graph for the current month of April on cash on Virgin, I know its not massive figures but I dont play some of the higher stakes like some...........anyway I hope it continues lol.

V Points Sat

Hmmmm..........I just cant understand whats going on, I seem to be doin ok at poker. Now I know this will be a kiss of death, but I'm also enjoying my poker too, maybe its because I had a nice long break. Long may it continue is what I say. Anyway, Played the V Points sat tonight and finished 4th, so entry into the 100k V Points final and 2700 points 4 me

Easter

Hope everyone took advantage of the cracking weather and had a great Easter, Managed a half decent round of Golf, although I'm thinking its only a temporary abberration until the shank monster and topping fairy get back from their Easter break. Playing in the AWOP VIP silver sats tonight, other than that not played too much poker of late apart from some low buy in MTTs and cashed for small money, but hey profit is profit.

Close but no cigar

Tried to win a seat to the Manchester GUKPT event via the pokerplayer freeroll on Bluesquare, well I was close, just hope I didnt look too much of a donk to any of the railers. Will have to try and win a seat to the Blackpool leg as I have a satellite ticket for my 3rd place finish.

Tweaking

Well, not being a computer Whizz.........well I can build em and do some things I decided to play with the HTML code of this blog, just so it fits better on the page.............hope it worked, any feed back greatly appreciated. Now to the poker, I need to improve my game but I have one big problem, my ambition is miles ahead of my ability, and no matter what I read and information I try to absorb I still make stupid mistakes???. I have thought of signing up to some poker tuition sites but I cannot justify the monthly cost of these from my poker winnings,not at the moment anyway,even tho most have a free sign up period. My game needs something, I know that much!!

Wow.........A new post

Well its been a while..................and not much to report on the poker front as Ive not played any,apart from 2 0r 3 games in the last 6 weeks,due to in part it battering my head. have got the AWOP silver sat to look forward to and am slowly getting back into cash games albeit low stakes again. I think I may concentrate on some low buy in sats to bigger comps as I deffo need more Live experience. Away from poker,my golf game is still shite,lol, not that it was anything other than shite...still if at first and all that bollocks. oh and the campaign to save the Vulcan managed to raise the money, so she lives to fly another day.

Not updated of late as I haven't really played too much poker,and what poker I have played has been crap,and am having a slight crisis of confidence........nothing new there then.it just tends to be the same old story,play like a donk......lose,play good poker and lose.......to donks,Aint poker great. Anyhow,Played the AWOP VIP CLUB silver sat and finished 6th,more from luck than judgement.Well played to all that took part and the winners of each sat. The AWOP league is back and up and running,so plenty of chances to suckout and donk my way up the leaderboard and try to win a festival seat in Newcastle.

I have to say that this is the worst weekend I have ever had, not only by my bad calls with AA and KK and donating big style,but some of the donk play of others. Worse day

Well after posting about being like an ATM apparently I am one, as some thieving c@nt has cloned my bank card and made off with a sizeable wedge of cash, so am now going through the labourious process of getting my cash back,after having cancelled my cards..........fookin nightmare. hope they die horribly. still at last the poker seeems to be getting better despite the poor frame of mind at the moment,hope it continues..................as I could do with the cash lmao.

Grind,Grind and Grind some more

Still grinding at the lower levels with the odd foray up a level when I think my state of mind warrants it,which is not often after some of the horrendous calls and miracle outdraws of late. Anyway, enough bleating...........for now. Managed to qualify for the Silver play-off for a £500 live buy in event through the AWOP VIP club through playing raked hands,so fingers crossed for that. Also managed the final of the V points final after finishing 3rd in the satellite and winning 3000 V points.....get in. Oh and off topic...City may be buying Kaka for £107 million,and if the press and everyone is to be believed,ruining football ha ha ha,how short a memory do people have err Chelski anyone or united a la ince and Veron.

Bad Day

There really are times when you should just switch off your computer and not attempt to rival the exploits of a barclays ATM,and give out cash when requested. After suffering one too many miracle outs appearing on the river for my opponents, like calling an all in on turn with 2nd pair against my straight to hit higher straight, I proceeded headlong into tilt central. Its not a great place to be and managed to undo any gains I made in the first days of the New Year,today however with a better frame of mind things have gone slightly better and am clawing it back. Oh and City were knocked out of the F.A. Cup by Forest, I should have gone to the match in hindsight............as it would have only cost me about £40 but the feeling of despair and loss would still be the same. Oh well,least I've got the milllion on Stars tonight to look forward to.
